What's on my easel?
This is a continuation of the painting started in the previous post. (See images on this post).
Here shadow's depth and richness have been developed through glazes with transparent paints and various media.
Highlights and midtones are brought forward by opaque paints painted wet-into-wet and the glazed as needed.
Details are just being refined and at this point I am still not sure where this young lady in going.

Both stages are lovely dear Painter and yes it will be interesting to see where this young lady takes you ... I find it quite amazing to see the different transformations from the initial drawing to the finished painting. xoxo ♡
Thanks for the note.
Painting like life is a process. It all takes hard work and caring but then again if it were easy it really wouldn't be interesting.
Do your poems grow or are they pre-formed?

My poems grow from a feeling, an idea, something that touches me profoundly, sometimes the words flow, other times I struggle to express what I am trying to say ... thanks for asking. xoxo ♡
Wow dear painter, your lady is certainly evolving, I really love the way you have brought the colour into her skin tones to accentuate her features more and I really like the colour of her eyes, such a soft brown. xoxoxo ♡
I love the softness and you really captured the light!
Thanks for your comment, Rachael.
Cheers,
Painter
